Role: VP, Alliances & Channels

What brought you to SecurityScorecard, and what has kept you here?

“What brought me to SecurityScorecard was the technology. Third-party risk is one of the most critical areas companies need to be focused on, and we’re making a real difference in that space. When I got here, I quickly realized just how much impact we have — and it was exciting to get back into my cyber roots. What keeps me here is the people: great people, a great product, and truly amazing customers.”

What’s a project or accomplishment you’re especially proud of since joining SSC?

“Being able to formalize and grow our relationship with AWS and Carahsoft together is one of my proudest accomplishments. The AWS, Carahsoft, and SecurityScorecard partnership is going stronger than ever. It’s been really rewarding to see how strong the partnership is today.”

How has working with people outside of your immediate team shaped your experience or helped you grow?

“It’s been really awesome to get to work with the tech team so closely, not only the Solutions Architects, who are amazing, but also our Product team. We have such fantastic visibility into what’s happening and the product developments that are on our roadmap that it helps shape what my team and I do every day. You have a much better understanding of the amount of work that the Product team puts in to make sure that the entire go-to-market engine runs smoothly.”

What’s something you’ve learned at SecurityScorecard that has changed the way you approach your work?

“I’ve learned to lean in with AI. SecurityScorecard is such an AI-first company, and it’s really focused on creating productivity triggers and making sure that AI is really complementing the work that you do. I’ve been able to learn how to use AI daily to make my prior manual administrative work a lot easier. That’s been a really valuable part of how I’ve learned to approach my work here because it frees me up to do more strategic thinking.”

What are you most excited to learn, take on, or accomplish in the next chapter of your career?

“I look forward to figuring out how forward deployed engineers (FDEs) complement and supplement the partner ecosystem. I’m excited to shape how we fit deployed engineers into the partner ecosystem. It’s such a strong concept, and Forward Deployed Engineers are a critical piece in the future of really any technology company, but especially here at SecurityScorecard. It’s going to be a game-changer for our partnerships.”

If you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice on your first day at SSC, what would it be?

“Don’t be afraid to just make a decision. I came from a lot of different enterprise companies where there was a lot of red tape and a lot of bureaucracy. Here, what I found is you make a decision, you roll with it, and a lot of times it’s what we might call a two-way door decision – it’s reversible, and we’ll figure it out. The company really enables you to do that.”
