What drew you to SecurityScorecard, and what made you excited to join the team?
“What really drew me to working at SecurityScorecard was the opportunity to help transform a trusted, established data product into an AI platform that enables workflows and automation. I’d worked on a similar problem before, so getting to bring that experience to a problem of this scale felt like an incredible opportunity.”.
Now that you’ve had your first week, what has stood out to you most about the people or culture here?
“One of the things that’s really stood out to me is how quickly I’ve been able to work with customers and collaborate with them. There’s a real customer-first mindset here, where you’re not just building for customers — you’re building with them.”
What are you most excited to work on or contribute to in your new role?
“I’m excited to help think through what an AI operating system across product, engineering, and design really looks like. A lot of organizations talk about AI transformation, and it’s very exciting to be on the leading edge of truly using AI to operate at scale, move faster, and build more efficiently. That’s a really exciting space to be in.”
What’s something from your career or background that you’re bringing with you that you’re especially excited to put into practice here?
“I’ve developed a framework for helping product and engineering teams operate more rapidly, and I’ve successfully used it at previous startups. I’m excited to pressure-test and scale that approach here — from teams of 10-40 people to an organization of over 100 — and see how it evolves at a much larger scale.”
If you could share one thing you’ve learned or experienced during your first week with someone considering joining SecurityScorecard, what would you tell them?
“You’re expected to hit the ground running on day one, but you’re never expected to do it alone. I’ve been struck by how proactive everyone is about offering support, feedback, and advice. You ask a question in Slack and suddenly three people are reaching out to make sure you have what you need to succeed.”
