Bolstering Supply Chain Security with Enhanced Japanese Language Support
SecurityScorecard has significantly expanded Japanese language support across key areas of the platform. This strategic enhancement empowers our customers and users in Japan to navigate the platform and address critical issues faster by fully utilizing more features in their native language.
The Japanese economy is deeply interconnected. Supply chain resilience is critical for operational continuity and global regulatory compliance mandates underscore the need for continuous, verifiable risk management across all entities. This localization is a direct investment in helping Japanese organizations meet rising international and local security expectations.
What’s New: Language Support for Critical Workflows
Before this release, several core platform sections were only available in English which prevented some Japanese-speaking users from realizing the platform’s maximum operational efficiency. We now offer Japanese language support for critical areas of our platform including Dashboards, Communication (ex. email notifications), Automation (ex. Rules, Action Plans), Reports, and Risk Quantification, among others.Â
Issue descriptions will remain in English for the time being. As part of the next phase of the localization project, we are aiming to have issue descriptions translated to Japanese in the first half of next year. Until then, issue details can be checked with the Japanese version of the Detailed Report.
This is more than a translation. It ensures zero friction when interacting with high-stakes security data.
Customer Impact: Accelerating Risk Action Across Your Team
By delivering additional components of the platform in their native language, we enable Japanese-speaking users to accelerate their risk and security workflows. They can address critical issues faster. This provides powerful, measurable value for users across security teams and throughout the organization.
For TPRM and GRC Teams: Maximizing Efficiency and Time to Value
Clarity fuels speed in the complex Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) process.
- Operational Clarity: TPRM and GRC professionals gain immediate access to critical vendor data and risk scores in their native language. This streamlined approach removes workflow bottlenecks, helping your teams quickly prioritize tasks and respond to critical findings.
- Faster Value Delivery: When language is no longer a barrier to using core features, your security teams spend more time managing risk and less time on translation, maximizing the platform’s utility from day one.
For SOC Teams: Real-Time Detection and Response
Localized threat intelligence empowers your Security Operations Center team.
- Prioritize Threats: Your analysts gain actionable, real-time insights into vendor-related threats immediately.
- End-to-End Visibility: This covers suspicious activity like malware infections and connections to products with known vulnerabilities.
- Faster Intervention: SOC teams can now quickly detect and act on high-severity risks. This moves your team from a reactive to a proactive security posture.
For CISOs and Executives: Clarity and ROI
Risk quantification and reporting ensures board-ready data is precise and defensible.
- Demonstrate Value: Localized reporting ensures the true financial impact of supply chain risks is clear. This fosters stakeholder confidence and justifies security investments.
- Enhanced Collaboration: When you communicate threats and remediation requirements to vendors in their native language, vendor collaboration workflows improve drastically. This drives toward the goal of cutting vendor issue resolution time and removes friction from these crucial conversations.
The Path to Proactive Supply Chain Security
This investment supports the necessity of proactive supply chain security that extends beyond point-in-time assessments. Modern risk management demands a shift from simply identifying threats to immediately resolving them. Your program must integrate:
- Continuous monitoring of risk signals, not just annual reviews
- Real-time telemetry across all third and fourth parties
- Actionable intelligence and automated workflows to prioritize and remediate threats quickly
- Seamless collaboration to ensure vendors take meaningful action on risk findings
For organizations that face resource and capacity constraints, implementing a comprehensive security program can be challenging. We provide flexible options, including fully managed services, to augment your team with the expertise needed to manage the entire risk lifecycle and achieve demonstrable results.
With Japanese language support, your teams can operationalize a modern supply chain security program, transforming data into direct, protective action.
