Special Service for Groups (SSG) is a private, non-profit human service agency incorporated in 1952. SSG is a multi-service, multi-ethnic organization dedicated to developing and implementing effective human service models while also providing training and technical assistance for other providers. SSG is a well-established contract provider of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH). SSG is well known for comprehensive and innovative program design and support to minority, Limited English Proficient (LEP) and other disenfranchised groups of all ages in need of services throughout LA County as well as neighboring areas including but not limited to Riverside and Orange Counties. SSG also has a certified behavioral health site in San Francisco. SSG has also excelled in developing and leading multi-group collaborative efforts as a lead agency with the recognized fiscal and program management skills necessary for such efforts.
