Anna, a self-employed leadership coach, was six months into her maternity leave when she started considering the notion of work life balance. She was struck by how negative it felt, and intuitively knew there was a better way to look at it. She split a circle into segments, and populated each with the areas of her life that needed to be considered in order for her to reach her potential as both a mother, and a coach. Suddenly she had clarity, and a plan to make it all work. The concept of blend was born. Fast forward 6 years, and blend had been transformed from a scribble on a napkin to a multi-layered experience. Open Blend Method is now helping forward-looking companies meet the needs of a modern-day workforce, giving them a competitive edge in attracting, retaining and getting the most out of the best talent. The story of blend is real. It is a story of how society is moving on and growing up. We own it. We want everyone to learn it, use it, share it.
