Textron is a multi-industry company engaged in the aircraft, defense, industrial, and finance businesses. It operates through six segments: Textron Aviation, Bell, Textron Systems, Industrial, Textron eAviation, and Finance. The Textron Aviation segment manufactures, sells, and services Beechcraft and Cessna aircraft and services the Hawker brand of business jets. The Bell segment supplies military and commercial helicopters, tiltrotor aircraft, and related spare parts and services. The Textron Systems segment develops and integrates unmanned aircraft systems, electronic solutions, advanced marine craft, piston aircraft engines, live military air-to-air and air-to-ship training, weapons and related components, and armored and specialty vehicles. The Industrial segment designs and manufactures fuel systems, functional components, and specialized vehicle products. The Textron eAviation segment includes Pipistrel, a manufacturer of electrically powered aircraft, along with research and development initiatives related to aviation solutions. The Finance segment provides financing primarily to purchasers of new and pre-owned Textron Aviation aircraft and Bell helicopters.
