How to Authenticate with SecurityScorecard
SecurityScorecard API endpoints require an authentication token to be passed in an authorization header in order to return data. If you do not already have a token, you can create one by going to the API Access area in your Settings page and then clicking Generate New Token.
Please note tokens do not expire and you can re-use them over and over again. If you have a token and generate another one, the first token will no longer be valid and cannot be used for API calls.
Once you have your token you can pass it in using the Authorization HTTP header like this:
curl -X GET \ https://api.securityscorecard.io/companies/domain.com \ -H 'Accept: application/json' \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \ -H 'Cache-Control: no-cache' \ -H 'Authorization: Token <Your API Key>'
