New York, NY, February 14, 2019 – SecurityScorecard, the leader in security ratings, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Laurie Potratz, Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances, to its prestigious list of 2019 Channel Chiefs. The top IT channel leaders included on this list continually strive to drive growth and revenue in their organization through their channel partners.
Each of the 2019 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated exceptional leadership, vision, and commitment to their channel partner programs. Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff as a result of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community, and strategies for driving future growth and innovation.
As VP of Global Channels and Alliances for SecurityScorecard, Laurie Potratz is responsible for driving revenue for SecurityScorecard sales through the vendor’s 100% channel sales model and integrating the solution across major GRC players. Having launched SecurityScorecard’s first ever Service Provider program to address the MSSP and carrier markets, Laurie’s focus has been to expand the international alliances team and partners to tackle adoption of the platform’s main use cases: Self Assessment, Vendor Risk Management, M&A and Cybersecurity Insurance. Prior to joining SecurityScorecard, Laurie has led successful global channel programs with LookingGlass Cyber Solutions, Veritas, Brocade Communications, Symantec, among others.
“The individuals on CRN’s 2019 Channel Chiefs list deserve special recognition for their contribution and support in the development of robust partner programs, innovative business strategies, and significant influence to the overall health of the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We applaud each Channel Chief’s remarkable record of accomplishments and look forward to following their continued success.”
“Operating as the leader of the SecurityScorecard global channel and alliances, Laurie Potratz brings extensive talent and global experience that has propelled our channel strategy forward,” said Bill Hogan, Chief Revenue Officer, SecurityScorecard. “This award is a well deserved testament to Laurie’s ability to take on new markets and solutions to drive channel adoption and ultimate success for both the vendor and it’s partner ecosystem.”
