In the world of information security, conferences are an invaluable resource for security professionals. Keeping up with the latest threats and innovations is a monumental task for anyone alone, which is why conferences are so integral for disseminating new information via discussion, training, workshops, and opportunities to network with experts and peers in the cybersecurity space.
That’s why we’ve put together a list of 50 upcoming conferences happening in the rest of 2019. Most are in the US, many are international. From venerated institutions to upstart hacking collectives, we’ve dug deep to identify conferences with something special to offer, whether you’re a CISO or amateur enthusiast.
We didn’t rank these events, but they are listed chronologically for easier browsing. Some conferences haven’t announced a date or location at the time of publication, so be sure to keep checking their official sites for updates.

DeepSec brings together the world's most renowned security professionals to this annual European conference. The event’s guiding principle is neutrality — submitted talks and trainings are accepted solely on merit, and newcomers are often chosen over industry rock stars. DeepSec is also a non-product, non-vendor-biased event, with a preference for “facts over ads.”

Hosted by Evanta — a Gartner Company — the CISO Executive Summit Series is an invitation-only gathering created “by CISOs, for CISOs,” the conference features content from practicing CISOs and current industry thought leaders, driven by the goal to “minimize time commitments while maximizing the depth of a true peer-to-peer engagement in an intimate setting.”

Bsides was created as a response to the typical constraints conferences face — schedules and physical capacity. Each BSides is a “community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members.” Fostering an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration, it’s an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.
